Current Position: Daniele Passarella, PhD, is associate professor of Organic Chemistry since 2006 at the Università degli Studi di Milano

Research activity and interest: Passarella’s research (PassaLab) group focuses its activity on Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry. In particular, the ongoing interdisciplinary projects regard: a) design and synthesis of libraries of heterocyclic and natural compounds derivatives with the ability to inhibit several biological targets that are crucial in the biology of cancer; b) chemistry of Natural Products; c) Self-assembled nanoparticles for cancer treatment. Passarella coordinated two COST Actions focused on angiogenesis and caner stem cells. In the period 2016-2020 he published 30 papers focused on different aspects of his research activities.
